	Marine amplified noise eliminating module.


	The “Noise Away” amplified noise eliminating module, is a compact in-line solution to noise and interference problems associated with poor HF SSB and VHF marine communications. The module simply fits in-line between the radio and extension speaker removing unwanted background noise and interference from noisy marine communication channels, greatly improving speech quality.

The “Noise Away” module uses unique DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology to clean up noisy voice signals, and is fully adaptive to any changes in interference and background noise levels. The module is suitable for use with many types of marine HF SSB, and VHF radios, and is easy to install with a full fitting kit and instructions supplied. The 3.5mm mono jack plug lead supplied connects between the “Audio In” on the “Noise Away” module and the extension speaker socket at the rear of the radio. The extension speaker used is then connected to the “Audio Out” of the “Noise Away” module. Noise cancelling is switched on via the panel mounting IP65 waterproof switch supplied.

When switched off, the module goes into power/audio bypass mode whereby the un-processed audio is routed straight through to the extension speaker. The module requires a 12 to18V DC supply voltage, and comes supplied with a fused DC power lead, a 3.5mm audio plug-to-plug lead, 1.2 m long, and an IP65 waterproof panel-mounting switch with LED. Optional audio leads, extension speakers and adapters are available to suit most radios and applications.
